Dating

In this day and age, it is hard to find people who are actually dating. Dating, as in, boy meets girl. Boy asks girl out. Girl says yes. Boy and girl agree on a time for the date. Boy picks up girl..so on and so forth. People have adapted to bootycalls or first dates being at each others houses. Whatever happened to romance? Having dinner with someone and actually getting to know them? Dating is a lot like a job interview.  It gives you time to find out if this person peaks your interest and you want to know more. Assuming the end result of this exchange is to be in a monogomous relationship...or not. Not every candidate qualifies for the position. Think about it.  How many of us know someone who 'hooked up' with someone and now they have a child with them and the two of them can barely stand each other?   If they had slowed down and cooled off their hormones, they may have seen these traits way before children came into the picture. Now, don't get me wrong.  There are times you think you know someone and they switch it up on you.  Happens all the time. Just like an employer hiring someone for a position and they stop showing up to work.  There's always a risk involved, but if in the end we find our soul mate it is so worth it.   Let's get back to the basics!
